Lodging
Reservations are required for boarding services. Animals requiring veterinary attention will be taken care of at owners expense. We require current vaccinations (copy of certificate must be on file) provided by a licensed veterinarian. For dogs Distemper, Parvo virus, hepatitis (DHLPP); Bordetella and parainfluenza (Kennel Cough) and Rabies. For cats Panleukopenia (commonly called cat distemper), and the upper respiratory diseases including rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and chlamydia; feline Leukemia virus and Rabies. Animals not on prescription strength flea medication will be given an oral flea medication on admission. There will be a charge for this. This way we can protect your pets as well as the ones already with us. Animals to be boarded must be admitted during regular office hours. Discharges should be arranged during regular office hours but exceptions are made as follows. If you wish to pick up your animal outside regular office hours you must call the clinic number and leave a message stating such. At the first available time you will be contacted by someone from the clinic to arrange a time for pick up. When the office is closed discharges will not be made without prior arrangement. Veterinarians are on call 24 hours a day, and staff provide regular care 7 days a week for hospitalized patients and boarders - however they are not required to keep the office open 24 hours a day, nor are they required to make immediate call backs except in emergencies. We work as hard as possible to accomodate everyones schedule. Please provide enough food for your pet if they are on a special diet. This consistency helps decrease the incidence of gastrointestinal and other problems. | ||
